The team behind Imperial has spent a combined 26 years in the Los Angeles and New York City barber culture. During that time, they worked to perfect the craft of classic American styling. However, in all those years they never found a hair or grooming product that was quite perfect. Pomades, gels and waxes were either too weak, too greasy/waxy, or too fragrant. So they built the perfect products themselves. The Imperial team spent two-and-a-half years testing the CLASSIC POMADE not only in research labs, but in barbershops on real customers. These premium products are “MADE BY BARBERS. MADE TO WORK. MADE IN THE U.S.A.” We embrace and support classic American men’s grooming with utilitarian products grounded in heritage and functionality because we use them every day in the field.

John Allan's
John Allan started his unlikely journey through the ranks of the men’s grooming industry with a lengthy training in Paris under the famed stylist Jean-Louis David. After helping David open his stateside salon in Henri Bendel, Allan set out on his own to create a space for men that, while offering grooming services, had the feeling of a high-end club (with billiards, spirits, etc.) rather than a salon. From that first club, eight have sprung, including four in Manhattan alone. Allan’s unique understanding of what men want in their grooming experience has been parlayed into his line of men’s products, which offer clean scents, sophisticated Art Deco-inspired packaging, and unmatched performance.
Prospector Co. Aftershave
In realizing we needed to offer something special for our gentlemen clientele, we stubbled upon this gem. Prospector Co., out of Savannah, Georgia, is a product line for those who seek purpose and forethought in their skin and shave products. There products are free of harmful additives, artificial fragrances or colorings, using only quality, natural ingredients with discerning scent and archival influence. Each product that we produce is created with special consideration for sensitive skin and in keeping with understandable ingredients and compositions. We see our products as food for the face and body, so they should be as discriminating as the food we eat. Our low-volume batches, individually made by hand are each given the human touch, literally. It should go without saying that the goods we create should be something we’re proud of, and we are. We use them everyday.
We love the smart glass packaging. While we have this collection specifically for the men, Prospector Co. recently expanded their shaving line to the ladies.
