Even in light of the recent tabloid scandals surrounding Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, one cannot deny the offspring slam-dunk that is Suri Cruise. The kid’s gorgeous, wealthy and her wardrobe puts the most devoted fashionista’s to shame. The media frenzy around Suri inspired one blogger to create Suri’s Burn Book, a hilarious blog (cheekily written from Suri’s point of view) trashing (and OCCASIONALLY praising) the wardrobes of other celebrity babies. ”Suri’s” elitism and biting sarcasm manage to be endearing, while also prompting me to nearly spray my coffee across my laptop screen in hilarity. Check it out at http://surisburnbook.tumblr.com. Allie Hagan, the blog’s mastermind, has also recently published a book of the same name, “Suri’s Burn Book: Well-Dressed Commentary from Hollywood’s Little Sweetheart.”

I happened to be shopping at (surprise) Anthropologie recently, with children in tow (a one year old and two year old in Anthro—yikes, a total nightmare!), and a lovely salesperson told me about this AMAZING children’s clothing line out of San Francisco. We were lamenting the lack of semi-affordable tiny clothing, outside of Baby Gap and Crewcuts, and she said that this company is so great because it’s not exorbitant (hello J. Crew, I’m NOT spending $120 on a baby sweater!), but it’s super-stylish and they put together these great “wardrobe sets” that you can mix and match within. And even cooler, each season they choose a geographic destination as their inspiration. Right now it’s “Nordic Design.” I think I might be ordering soon…
